A ssociate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Public Health Specialist.

Qualifications:- Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB); Master of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MMed Obs/Gyn); Master of Science in Reproductive Biology (MSc. Reprod. Biol); Master of Public Health Leadership (MPHL); Diploma in Virtual Leadership Development Program (Dip. VLDP); Fellow, East Central and Southern Africa College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ECSACOG)

She is currently serving in numerous positions including:

  • Dean, School of Medicine & health Sciences, Kenya Methodist University,

  • Chairperson, National Scientific and Ethics Committee, NACOSTI,

  • Chairperson and Representative of Kenyan Private Universities, Kenya Education Network (KENET) Management Board,

  • Chairperson, Meru County Health Services Board

  • Member, Kenya Methodist University Ethics and Research Committee

She is a member of various professional associations including Bioethics Society of Kenya; Kenya Medical Association; Kenya Medical Women’s Association; Medical Women’s International Association; Kenya Obstetrical and Gynecological society; and East, Central and Southern Africa Obstetrics and Gynecology Societies.

She has a wealth of experience in teaching, clinical instruction and student supervision. She has shared research findings through publications and presentation of scientific papers in various fora and provided consultancy services to several organizations.
